66. Mr. Allason

asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will hold an inquiry into the premature disclosure by his Department on the 18th February of his intention to amalgamate the Third Carabiniers (Prince of Wales Dragoon Guards) and the Royal Scots Greys.

The decision to amalgamate the Third Carabiniers and the Royal Scots Greys was announced in the Defence White Paper which was published today.
