asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many civilians are employed at Army district and command headquarters organisations in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Boyden

The number of civilians employed in Army command and district headquarters in the United Kingdom on 1st January, 1969 was 3,000 (exactly) of whom 640 were in part-time employment.
