HC Deb 20 February 1969 vol 778 c159W
Mr. Richard Wainwright

asked the President of the Board of Trade why he has not prolonged for the summer of this year the current relaxations of the International Air Transport Association's Standard Tariff Provision One in respect of flight charges for overseas tours from the United Kingdom.

Mr. William Rodgers

The Provision I tariff for the current winter season was introduced as an experiment and the arrangements for next winter are currently under review. As regards the coming summer I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply to the hon. Member for Both-well (Mr. James Hamilton) on 29th January. A number of applications for further reductions in the control prices are now under appeal to the Board of Trade.—[Vol. 776, c. 337.]
