§ Mr. Braineasked the President of the Board of Trade what conclusions were reached by his Department as to the 124W feasibility of placing a protective barrier around the wreck of the munitions ship "Richard Montgomery" in the Thames Estuary.
§ Mr. William RodgersThe Ministry of Defence has been considering this matter in consultation with the Board of Trade and the Medway Conservancy Board. It has been decided that further technical information is required before a decision can be reached and the Hydraulics Research Station of the Ministry of Technology has been asked to undertake a survey of the immediate environment of the wreck and to conduct model studies into the feasibility of safeguarding it by a protective barrier.
