§ 74. Mr. Hastingsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will make a statement on the relaxation of the ban on the importation of brushed new potatoes from France.
§ Mr. HoyUnwashed new potatoes grown in an area where Colorado beetle occurs may not be imported without a licence. A licence may be issued if my right hon. Friend is satisfied that alternative treatment will be as effective as washing in preventing the import of Colorado beetle. One was issued to a packing station in France in 1968.
