§ 52. Mr. Thorpeasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will issue a circular to local housing authorities on the circumstances in which they should allocate dwellings scheduled for redevelopment and standing unoccupied to applicants from their housing waiting lists.
§ Mr. MacCollThis is a matter for each local authority to consider in the light of the particular circumstances. A sub-committee of the Central Housing Advisory Committee is looking generally at allocation policies.
