HC Deb 17 February 1969 vol 778 c54W
Mr. David Steel

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will examine with a view to giving a grant in aid the possibility of providing an underground travelator between Waverley Station and St. Andrews Bus Station, Edinburgh, in particular by way of the disused Dublin Street tunnel.

Mr. Ross

If the transport operators directly concerned, or the local authority, were to put forward a specific proposal I would consider whether grant aid would be warranted.
