On my way to Luxembourg for the Ministerial Meeting of Western European Union on 6th and 7th February, I paid a brief visit to Herr Brandt in Germany. He was recuperating from an illness which prevented him from coming to London last month, and from attending the meeting. We discussed a number of matters of mutual concern, including European problems.
