§ Mr. MacCollThe number of dwellings recorded as unoccupied in the Sample Census of April, 1966, is available for each local authority in England and Wales with a population of 15,000 or more, in the published reports for the counties. The Census post-enumeration survey showed that there had been some over-counting of vacant housing but local figures cannot be adjusted. No later official estimates are available.
