HC Deb 14 February 1969 vol 777 c402W
Mr. Milne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to allow the payment of the extra £25 of holiday allowance to be made at pensionable age, for men of 65 years and women of 60 years, instead of at the age of 70 years as at present.

Mr. Harold Lever

No.

Mr. Milne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in view of recent increases in charges for overseas holidays, he will re-examine the £50 overseas travel allowance, with a view to an increase; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Harold Lever

I have nothing to add to what my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer said in the House on 15th October, 1968.—[Vol. 770, c. 188.]
