HC Deb 14 February 1969 vol 777 c393W
Mr. Hannan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware of the lack of emergency dental services, particularly in Glasgow, at weekends; and if he will consult the appropriate authorities within the National Health Service with a view to providing such emergency services through a rota system by dentists or, where they exist, using dental facilities in hospitals.

Mr. Ross

I understand that most dentists will provide emergency treatment at any rate for their own patients. I am not at present satisfied that the demand is sufficient to warrant my taking steps to establish special arrangements.
