§ Mr. Edward Lyonsasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action he is taking to continue the work of the private conference convened by the former Minister of Health to consider problems arising in the field of transplantation surgery.
§ Mr. CrossmanThe Secretary of State for Scotland and I have appointed an advisory group to give further consideration to these problems. Sir Hector MacLennan, who was Chairman of the conference, has kindly agreed to take the chair of this advisory group. The other members have been drawn from those who attended the conference and again include representatives of the medical and nursing professions and of the churches, and lay people.
