103. Mr. William Hamilton

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement on the progress made towards a settlement of the pay dispute at Turnhouse Airport, Edinburgh.

Mr. William Rodgers

I have now received the report of the working party on productivity. I am hopeful that this will provide a basis for a settlement and I am urgently discussing the matter with the principal trade union concerned.
