Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that the price of disposable Tufty-Tails nappies has been increased by 20 per cent. by charging 4s. 11d. for a pack of 20 instead of 25; and whether this has been approved by the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
§ Mr. DellI understand that the retail price recommended by the company marketing this product is 4s. 5d. for 20. Costs of imported materials have risen since devaluation and I see no reason to refer this particular increase to the N.B.P.I.
