Friend the Minister of Agriculture and I are convening a meeting of representatives of the authorities concerned to discuss the: scope for improving present arrangements for liaison on land drainage and planning. We shall decide after this whether to issue a circular dealing with the particular problem mentioned by the hon. Member or to include it in more comprehensive guidance on the general issue.
