§ Mr. Farrasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what he anticipates will be the increase in the number of places available, by the end of 1970, in special units provided for the care of the younger chronic sick.
§ Mr. EnnalsA memorandum recommending the establishment of special units for the younger chronic sick was addressed to hospital authorities by my right hon. Friend, the former Minister of Health, in July last year. I am not able to forecast the extent of the additional provision which will be made for210W these patients, but my right hon. Friend intends to call for a progress report in the course of next year.
