§ Mr. Derek Pageasked the Minister of Technology whether he will discuss with the Hydraulic Research Station the construction of a hydraulic model of the Wash Barrage and associated works to enable a full evaluation of natural resource development potential.
§ Mr. FowlerIt is for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government, with the advice of the Water Resources Board, to decide whether a hydraulic model is desirable. Should he wish the Hydraulics Research Station to carry out a model study, we will certainly consider whether such a project could be fitted into the station's programme.
