§ Mr. RossIt is a statutory function of the General Teaching Council to determine the conditions for exceptional admission to the Register, and it may require teachers conditionally registered to complete successful courses of varying length before admission to the Register.
The Council has recently published a statement which deals with this matter, and I have asked it to send a copy to my hon. Friend.
