asked the Minister of Power what estimate he has made of the net additional cost to the balance of payments arising from the decision of the British Steel Corporation to buy oil instead of natural gas until 1972.

For the reasons given in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Hemsworth (Mr. Beaney) on 21st January [Vol. 776, c. 67], there should be no additional cost to the balance of payments.
