§ Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Transport what consideration he is giving to the opening of the upper River Waveney from Beccles to Bungay for river craft; and whether he will use his powers to ensure that no obstacle is placed in the way pending the Broads Consortium Report.
§ Mr. MarshMy Department has recently been in correspondence with persons interested in reopening to navigation this and other waterways in the Broad lands area and has suggested that they put their proposals to the Broads Consortium Committee. Meanwhile I do not think I can usefully intervene.
