HC Deb 04 February 1969 vol 777 cc64-5W
Q8. Mr. James Davidson

asked the Prime Minister what steps he is taking to co-ordinate the responsibilities of the Secretary of State for Scotland, the President of the Board of Trade, the Minister of Transport and the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity for the action to be taken following the decision of the Railways Board to close the Inverurie Railway Workshops.

The Prime Minister

My right hon. Friends are already fully co-ordinating their plans for action which will be implemented if, after consultation with the Unions, British Railways finally decides to close its workshops at Inverurie.
