§ 40 and 41. Sir W. Teelingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) if he will take steps to sequestrate the several £ million worth of Russian assets in the United Kingdom with a view to meeting the debts to the United Kingdom due from Czarist days;
(2) if he will now press the Soviet Government for a reply to his note sent to them on 10th October inviting them to discuss the Czarist debts, to which they have not replied.
