Friend the First Secretary and Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity said in her statement on 30th January, we already take into account at Annual Price Reviews the industry's gain in efficiency and cost increases, which in this case would include the effect of the wages award. It is not possible for my right hon. Friend to say to what extent a single factor among the many relevant considerations will influence the award this year or to anticipate the Review in any way.
