§ 85. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Common wealth Affairs how many letters he has received since 11th November, 1965, from inhabitants of Rhodesia reaffirming allegiance to the Crown.
§ Mr. FoleyThis information is not readily available and, in any case, I do not think any conclusions could be drawn from it. Very many Rhodesians have of course demonstrate their loyalty to the Crown through the Governor, who is Her Majesty's representative in Rhodesia and to whom expressions of loyalty are appropriately addressed.
§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will state his plans for Great Britain's relations with Rhodesia as a result of the debates at the recent Commonwealth Conference.
§ Mr. M. StewartI have nothing to add to the reply which my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister gave to the hon. Member for Worcestershire, South (Sir G. Nabarro) on 21st January.—[Vol. 776. c. 245.]
