§ 17. Mr. John Wellsasked the Minister of Transport whether he will give a general direction to the British Waterways Board to present its annual accounts in a manner which makes it possible to ascertain whether the Board's various operations have been conducted at a profit or at a loss.
§ Mr. CarmichaelMy right hon. Friend is discussing with the Waterways Board a revision of the Direction given it under Section 24 of the Transport Act, 1962, on the form of its annual accounts which we intend will show the results of its activities to a degree which is consistent with good commercial practice.
