§ Mr. John SilkinI have been asked to reply. Research has been carried out periodically since 1932 but no active work is at present being undertaken on this subject. The combination of this research resulted in the publication by the Building Research Station in June, 1960, of a paper entitled "Utilisation of Slate and Slate Waste."
