§ Mr. TaverneThe communiqué issued following discussions between the Home Secretary and the Northern Ireland Government in October (Cmnd. 4178) set out measures to assist the economy of Northern Ireland being taken by the Government of Northern Ireland with the support of the United Kingdom Government. Discussions between the two Governments on the financial consequences of the decision to set up a central housing authority and on other financial matters are now taking place, and in them both Governmente are fully aware of the needs of the province as a whole.
