Sinclairasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to ensure that the Community Relations Commission co-ordinates its work in the field of race relations with independent organisations including the Institute of Race Relations, the Runnymede Trust, the churches and the immigrant associations.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesUnder the Race Relations Act, 1968, the Community Relations Commission is itself responsible for the organisation of its day to day work. It already co-operates with other organisations concerned with race relations, and is keeping the arrangements for this under review.
