§ 94. Sir R. Russellasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will give an assurance that he will oppose proposals by other members of the alliance to compel Greece to withdraw from the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
§ Mr. George ThomsonI am not aware of a proposal by any member of N.A.T.O. to compel Greece to withdraw from the Alliance. As to the position of Greece in N.A.T.O., I would refer the hon. Member to my remarks in the House yesterday.
