§ Mr. Eadieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has now given approval to a foreign firm to carry out further exploration of potential mineral deposits in Scotland.
§ Mr. RossMy approval is not required for the exploration of mineral deposits in Scotland except, of course, on land owned by the Secretary of State.
