§ Mr. Edward Lyonsasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity in view of the inconvenience to the people of Bradford and financial loss to the theatre and other places of entertainment in the city, particularly over the Christmas period, she will intervene in the industrial dispute arising from the 299W decision of municipal transport employees not to operate buses after 9 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings for four weeks beginning 12th December, 1969 because of assaults upon them by certain members of the public.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerAlthough this is not strictly an industrial dispute, my Department has been in touch with the management and the union, and I understand that they will be discussing the matter in the near future.
