Member for West Ham, North, sent to him on 9th November, concerning a constituent's case affecting her widow's pension and income tax, was referred without consulting the hon. Member to the Board of Inland Revenue, from whom a reply signed by an official was received on 8th December; and why it took so long to send a negative reply.
