§ Mr. EnnalsUp to 9th December, 1,156 claims for supplementary benefit were made in respect of the dependants of persons involved in the recent Scottish bus strike, resulting in 1,021 payments at a total cost of £6,700. A very few claims were also made by persons unable to get to work on account of the strike.
