§ Mr. Randallasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will now announce what contributions will be made to the programme of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees in 1970.
§ Mr. LuardHer Majesty's Government will make a special contribution of £30,000, in addition to the £120,000 which they have already contributed, to the 1969 programme for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees; and will contribute to the 1970 programme at this increased level of £150,000.
Parliament will be asked to approve the necessary supplementary estimate for the additional 1969 contribution in due course. In the meantime an advance will be sought from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
