HC Deb 12 December 1969 vol 793 c187W
Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will estimate the value of home-grown timber produced in 1969 in terms of import saving on the basis of the information available to him during earlier months of the year.

Mr. John Mackie

There is no significant change in the rough estimate of about £20 million, based on equivalent import prices, which I gave the noble Lord earlier in the year.
