HC Deb 11 December 1969 vol 793 c163W
Mr. Channon

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what advice has been tendered by the Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts and the British Records Association as to the future location of the railway records.

Miss Jennie Lee

The President of the British Records Association wrote to my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport in May, 1968 stating that the Association considered that the railway records at present in London should remain there.

No advice has been tendered by the Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts.
