HC Deb 11 December 1969 vol 793 c157W
61. Mr. Peter Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what plans he has under consideration to improve the primary school facilities in Okehampton; and how far the present school; fall below the standard required by his department.

Miss Bacon

The total teaching area is sufficient but the classrooms are small and the school has inadequate lavatories, poor lighting and a small playground. The local education authority intend to provide better accommodation as soon as resources allow: meanwhile they are carrying out a number of minor improvements.
