HC Deb 11 December 1969 vol 793 c183W
Mr. Woof

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is aware that Mr. Stanley Fenwick of 1 Park Terrace, Swalwell, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, is not being given the necessary medical treatment under the National Health Service; and if he will make an inquiry into the matter.

Dr. John Dunwoody

Mr. Fenwick is not at present on the list of a doctor in the National Health Service. The Durham Executive Council have written to him explaining that he should apply for acceptance by a doctor and that if he cannot get accepted, he should seek the help of the Executive Council. Meanwhile, if he needs treatment in an emergency, he may approach any doctor in the National Health Service in his area.
