§ The Attorney-GeneralThe injured person is not necessarily without remedy at present in the case of an accident caused by a latent defect in a vehicle and the onus resting upon those relying on the defence of latent defect is a heavy one. Any change in the basis of the motorist's liability would need careful consideration.
