The figures for 1969–70 take no account of possible increases that may result if the Rate Support Grant (Increase) Order 1969 is approved.

§ Mr. Denis HowellRate rebates were introduced by the Rating Act, 1966 and were first afforded for the year 1966–67. There are therefore no figures about rebates for 1963–64. Figures for the current financial year are not yet available. Figures for 1968–69 were published as "Rate Rebates in England and Wales 1968–69".
