§ 71. Mr. Wingfield Digbyasked the Minister of Transport what sum he received from the Bournemouth and Dorset Police Authority for fixed penalty notices relating to parking offences during 1966, 1967 and 1968, respectively; and to how many cases they related.
Mr. Bob BrownThe sums for 1966 and 1967, which relate to Bournemouth only, amounted to approximately £11,500 and £18,500 respectively. The sum for 1968 includes as well an amount from the County of Dorset, to which the fixed penalty system was extended in April of that year, and was approximately £23,500.
