§ 88. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what representations he has received from the Chigwell Urban District Council and other local bodies and individuals against the proposal to site a service area for the M11 at the former Royal Air Force Station near Chigwell; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. SkeffingtonRepresentations have been received from the Essex County Council and from a number of local residents as well as the Chigwell Urban District Council.
The matter is in abeyance until the route for the M11 in this area is settled. If it is decided that the M11 will take the Chigwell route, a public local inquiry will be held into the proposal for a service area there.
