Q10. Mr. Gregory

asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on the meeting of the National Economic Development Council on 18th November at which he took the chair.

Q11. Mr. John Fraser

asked the Prime Minister with what industries he has had discussions in connection with the export targets and import forecasts in the Government's Green Paper of February, 1969.

Q12. Mr. Molloy

asked the Prime Minister what discussions he has had with the representatives of economic development committees on prospects for exports, industry by industry, in 1970 to 1972.

The Prime Minister

Consultations on the Economic Assessment to 1972 have taken place, through E.D.C.s and other consultative bodies, over a wide area of industry and commerce. Particular attention has been given to export and import prospects. The chairmen of seven E.D.C.s selected for detailed discussions presented their reports at the meeting of the N.E.D.C. on 18th November.
