Mr. Bob BrownInter-continental lorries are subject to British vehicle weight regulations. None of the bridges on the trunk road section of the A2 between Dover and Canterbury requires a weight restriction.
Within the county borough boundary of Canterbury a bridge owned by British Rail is marginally below strength and is programmed for reconstruction next year. The need for a weight restriction on this bridge is currently under consideration by British Rail.
