§ Mr. George ThomasI have not yet proposed a route. My consultants have considered several possible routes for the new road. These comprise routes close to the central area, including the route along the canal which is shown in the Welshpool town map; and outer bypasses to the north and south including a route along the line of the Shrewsbury-Aberystwyth railway.
§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for Wales when he intends to publish for the consideration of the affected public the proposals for a by-pass in Welshpool.
