HC Deb 04 December 1969 vol 792 cc342-3W
78. Mr. D. Dodds-Parker

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he will consider making arrangements for six-year-old children in primary schools, whose parents represent that a full day's schooling is too much, to be allowed to attend for less than a full day.

Miss Bacon

Where school authorities are satisfied that a child is unable on health grounds to attend school full time, they may allow him to attend part time.
