HC Deb 04 December 1969 vol 792 c319W
32. Mr. Leslie Huckfield

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what proposals she has for increasing research into the causes of industrial sickness and disease.

Mr. Harold Walker

My Department is already carrying out a substantial programme of surveys and investigations into industrial diseases. When the Employment Medical Advisory Service is set up under the measure my right hon. Friend is shortly to introduce, resources for activities of this kind will be increased. If my hon. Friend has any particular subjects which he feels should be studied, I should be grateful to know of them.
