HC Deb 04 December 1969 vol 792 cc370-1W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that on his recent visit to Great Britain Her Majesty's Ambassador to the United States travelled from New York on a United States airline whilst seats were available on a British Overeas Airways Corporation flight; and whether, as a means of conserving foreign currency, he will take the necessary action to ensure that he himself, Ministers, Ambassadors and State employees travel by British conveyances whenever possible.

The Prime Minister
