§ 76. Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many teachers have so far been dismissed from teaching for non-registration with the General Teaching Council since registration was made compulsory.
§ Mr. Ross28 teachers have been dismissed, 25 because they did not register in 1968–69 and 3 in the present session. Six of these teachers subsequently registered of whom 5 were reinstated by their employing authorities.
