§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the policy of the Government with regard to Resolution No. 419 in reply to the 16th Report on the Activities of the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration, which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 30th September, 1969; and whether they will maintain and increase their support for the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration.
§ Mr. George ThomsonThis resolution invites the European Governments which are members of the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration (I.C.E.M.) to give increased support to it. Her Majesty's Government, however, are no longer a member of I.C.E.M.
